Traditionally local and regional firms belong to large associations of CPA firms. These associations serve a purpose but are not organized to directly enable and bolster a firm's client service capabilities. The founding partners and practitioners comprising the FD Alliance firms understood that the traditional national CPA associations lacked what was most needed; the commitment and process to build and leverage greater expertise to serve clients.

While each FD Alliance firm is separately owned and managed; the industry and service leaders work together to build cohesive service teams. Our practice leaders meet regularly and work together in the same way that practice groups of national firms work. We know one other and know how to work with one another.
